The CCD consist of two routes. A lowland and highland route. The lowland route is 197.2 miles at 12,600 ft of climbing. The traditional route (highland) is 211.4 miles and 14,000 ft of climbing. Both routes are credited toward the Triple Crown., however, only the Highland route qualifies for the Stage Race.
