An amazingly beautiful ride. It can be a little cold at the start but by 8 AM you warmed up and so is the air temp. and you’re fine. Some challenging hills and just long enough. I love this ride and will do it again.

This is my new favorite event. This is the first time I’ve done Tour de Tahoe and I plan to do it annually. Registration and bib pick up was very convenient. The turnout was great. It wasn’t too large of an event where congestion can occur during climbs or narrow roads. It wasn’t too small of an event where you feel like you’re doing a solo ride. Nothing beats the scenery. I thought that Levi’s Gran Fondo had the best scenery until I did this event.
There were plenty of rest stops to refuel the body and enjoy different vista points of Lake Tahoe. Although I didnt need SAG support, I saw a few cyclists that were being helped by SAG. The bike mechanics at the rest stops were very helpful also. It was a very well organized event. The roads were great. Wait until you get to the highway 50 descent. My favorite part. I can’t wait to ride this event again next year.
