The Tour De Foothills is something I wait for all year. I’ve been doing this ride for years now. I love the people and how the event is set up. They have a great start area and also finish area. The course they select is always good. It has a little bit of everything. From flats, climbs, and downhills (my favorite). What I love the most are the food rest stops. If they weren’t there, I would run out of water and food for sure. There were a total of 4 and of course I stopped at all 4 lol. For years, I’ve done the 30+ mile ride but this year I attempted the 60+ mile ride and completed it! I would recommend this ride to everyone. I can’t wait until November 2019! 🙂

I’m Edgar 36 years old, been riding for 3 months and loss around 10 pounds from 183 to 173 lbs, I was really excited about the ride cuz my friend from Riverside Bicycle Club recommend me to do it, so I did. Oh yes did I mentioned it was my very first event ever? Yes, The Tour De Foothills It was my very first friendly personal competition. I was surprised from the start to finish the ambient, the sound, the camaraderie, the really well stock SAG stops, the sponsors, and the BEER yes BEER. From downtown Upland to the streets passing the river and residential areas, good idea we didn’t deal with traffic, overall I was like WoW. I really do appreciate the opportunity to get involved in this experience, I rode the 67 miles from Upland to Covina and back. Next year the Metric…Yess.
Thanks to the mayor and everyone involved in such beautiful event.

This was my second year doing tour de foothills, and certainly not my last. The routes are challenging enough for moderate riders without being too grueling. Really hope to see more of a spread at the rest stops, though. Last year was fantastic. See you guys next year!

OK I wish there was better signage and arrows along the route. I was on the metric century with a group and we got lost over near the dam in Azuza. We ended up on the 100 mile route and had to back track. From that point on we wished we had more arrows lining the route.
