This was my first time joining Party Pardee. Very well run event and the ride was great as the scenery was beautiful. The rest stops were well run and plenty of snacks and water. Will join next year.

This was my first ride at the Party Pardee and I really enjoyed the ride. People were super friendly.. The course is through the areas rolling hills and has some beautiful scenery along the way. Great early spring ride to get out of the winter funk zone. Will be back next year.

This is a great ride for beginners or more experienced folks. 3 rest stops evenly spaced on the metric 100. Great scenery, rolling hills, enough of a challenge but also great for a social event.

Party Pardee never fails to deliver. This year we were blessed with excellent weather. The ride is challenging enough without becoming a total sufferfest and the scenery and course is gorgeous. That said some roads are rough and full of potholes. The organizers put on a great event, with the rest stops adequately stocked with more choices and the lunch is always more than substantial. The best part after finishing the ride is the great band coupled with an ice cold beer. Always a great start to spring and the gran fondo season.

Overall, they did a great job to make the ride as enjoyable as possible and the food was good. I will be delighted to do it again next year. Just a heads up, the schedule showed the food at the end of the ride will be served until 3:30 pm. I guess they really meant it. Try not to get there not even a second past 3:30 if you want to eat.

A very well organized ride, the rest stops were great and the course was fabulous, and extremely well marked. It’s the perfect spring metric century with great scenery and just enough challenge for riders of different capabilities. Well supported throughout. Planning on doing it again next year. Great day!

Party Pardee, April 1, 2017.
The course was well marked and the rest stops were spaced and staffed with great folks.
Lunch at rest 3 had delicious potatoes.
Post ride dinner was great.
Parking was outstanding.
Music venue in park was a welcome touch.
This was the 4th or 5th year with my son.
Great weather and strong support.
Needed a warning of the new rumble strips on Hy 12.
How does it any better than this?

For my first century, Party Pardee was a very pleasant experience. The course description was very accurate and for the most part road surfaces were good to very good. The photo shoot on the road was clearly marked, and the use of fill-in flash made for good quality. Overall, very pleased. Ricardo

This ride is extremely well organized. The scenery is fantastic and the C.H.P. assistance at major intersections as always was professional and allowed for even the less experienced and somewhat road shy cyclist to feel good about the traffic. The routes were very well marked and easy to follow. The rest stops provided fantastic foods and were staffed by very friendly people who offered encouragement throughout the ride. This is definitely a must do ride for anyone who enjoys the beauty of our scenic Northern California foothills and expects a well organized event, thanks.

This was my first metric century and first Pardee Party. Never haven ridden this far, I was a little apprehensive about finishing. But no worries, I had plenty of time, everyone was so nice, and the rest stops were well-stocked and had a good variety of food. What really stands out is the scenery and the area around Ione, just absolutely beautiful! Coming from Nevada, what a treat to see all that green, I just loved riding there and camping at the Pardee Reservoir. I kind of wish the band had played a bit longer, by the time I got back, changed and ate, they were wrapping up. And while the lunch was much appreciated, it was a little meh. The fajitas seemed like a whole lot of onions and very little chicken. But no biggie, just maybe think of serving something else next year. All and all, I really loved my whole time spent in the area – before the race, and the race itself. I did experience some jerk drivers, but that cannot generally be helped. There are always residents who do not like these events and do not want a bunch of cyclists on their roads. But all in all, nicely done!

Party Pardee is a fun ride with good quality, predominantly smooth roads, not many cars to deal with, and beautiful green hills for scenery. The route is easy to follow and is almost entirely hilly, so you’re either working uphill earning your lunch, or coasting downhill enjoying the thrill. Three rest stops and an after-ride lunch are well presented and offer a good array of food. Parking can be a little bit inconvenient, but the festive atmosphere at the registration building and the shady bike vendor expo are worth a short hike to/from your vehicle. Love having Photo Crazy photos available for purchase, as well as a ride jersey and t-shirt. Would love it if Party Pardee would add a ride patch, too. All in all, it was a great time in 2017 with beautiful weather.

Awesome first ride of the season. Views are amazing and the staff very friendly. This was my first time and rode solo, but didn’t feel that way as I encountered so many friendly riders. Even forgot to fill up my two water bottles starting the full metric and met an awesome rider that surprised me by offering me one of his. Also enjoyed the photography by photo crazy. Somehow they managed to get 5 great photos of me. Awesome way to keep memories of this beautiful ride.

I average 5 rides a year and Party Pardee is the best one of them all. They have their stuff together, from check-in to SAG support (CHP help) and especially the rest areas. Other events should copy what the folks at Party Pardee are doing. This is a first rate event. I will participate every year! If you have not done this ride before it’s a must, the route and the scenery are great, but sign up early (like the first week) because I made the mistake of waiting too long the first time and it was sold out, I had to wait until the end to buy my ticket from someone who couldn’t make it. You won’t regret it!

Come and enjoy this early season metric century in the rolling foothills of Amador and Calaveras counties near the gold rush town of Ione. You’ll find well stocked rest stops and friendly volunteers to greet and refuel you along your tour. At the end of the ride you’ll enjoy a delicious after-ride meal and live music with Mumbo Gumbo.
