We did this ride in 2016 and stayed in Gridley at a local motel. The accommodations were really dreadful. This year we decided to stay in Oroville at the Holiday Inn Express. The ride was great. Perfect weather. We did the 40 mile ride which ended up being an out and back due to flooding on the road. Everything was great until we were EVACUATED from our hotel in the afternoon after the ride. We headed north as instructed and after a night in Yreka, continued on to Seattle. We’ll be back next year.

This is our second time doing this ride. We drove from Seattle to ride and because of our weather its the first ride of the season for us. We loved the course and the people were really friendly. Enjoyed a massage at the end as well as some good Mexican food. See you next year.

We enjoyed this year’s Love Ride. Great way to stretch the legs and enjoy all the green new growth around the Buttes.

Indoor Bike Party – Rainy Day Option – 3 1-hour “Spin” classes – century ride equivalent!

The Valentine 100 Miles: Set off for your journey with a 34-mile loop to the north through old walnut orchards between Gridley and the Feather River.

The Sweetheart 60 Miles: You’ll roll out towards the scenic 40 mile loop and pass Grey Lodge Wildlife Refuge. Lunch will be waiting at about 30 miles in the town of Sutter, and then you’ll tackle a few rollers around the Sutter Buttes before heading back to the Fairgrounds.

The Cupid 40 Miles: Circling the great Sutter Buttes could be very romantic! This route gets you up close to the scenery without taking you too far.
