Beautiful and well marked route with above average road quality and fair amount of elevation gain for the distance. Very friendly and courteous volunteers. Great food at the finish. The weather was perfect this year. Will definitely participate again next year.

I rode the 25 mile route out through Campo Seco and loved passing this historic Gold Rush Camp. The rolling hills were a challenge but, just when I was winded the Comanche Rest Stop refueled me to finish bike ride. Lunch was fabulous…I don’t know how they make chicken so moist and the chili beans were delicious. I loved the bike art show and Irish Music. I enjoyed having lunch with the hikers who walked for Art. Great Event.

Nice early season ride in beautiful Calaveras and Amador Counties. Great post ride meal and art raffles. Looking forward to the new timed sections!

Great early season ride with improved course options. No long ride, but appropriate for March. Very friendly crew and easy going crowd, good food and site. Strong community vibe. Good cause and reasonable price.

The route uses some of my favorite roads through the central Sierra foothills. Very scenic and green in March. Mostly very quiet too.
Ride4Art has the best post ride meal. Fantastic ‘chicken in a barrel’.
The finish area has a great view of Lake Hogan.
I highly recommend Ride4Art. The entry fee is incredibly cheap for such a great ride. I have done both of the previous events and enjoyed them very much.

Ride-4-Art staged in the Central Motherlode benefits the Calaveras Arts Council
by bringing together riders, walkers and art lovers to nourish the arts.
Ride a scenic and supported foothill country road in Calaveras County, or enjoy
a leisurely stroll through Turner Park, or come listen to music while enjoying a
Calaveras inspired lunch in the County History Museum Garden and perusing
art inspired by bicycles in the Calaveras Art Gallery.
